👧 Who Is Eligible?

To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicant must fulfill the following:

  • ✅ Girl child born on or after April 1, 2015
  • Permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh
  • ✅ Family income below ₹75,000 per annum
  • Maximum two girl children per family can benefit from the scheme

📜 Required Documents

To apply for the Ladli Beti Scheme, you need to submit the following:

  • 📄 Birth Certificate of the girl child
  • 📄 Aadhaar Card of child, father, mother/guardian
  • 📄 Income Certificate (less than ₹75,000/year)
  • 📄 Domicile Certificate of father or mother
  • 📄 Bank Passbook (First Page) of the girl child’s account
  • 📄 Address Proof & Identity Proof of parents/guardians

📝 How to Apply?

🟢 Online Method:

  1. Visit: https://jansugam.jk.gov.in/
  2. Register/Login to Service Plus Portal
  3. Click on “Apply for Service”
  4. Choose “View All Available Services”
  5. Search “Ladli Beti”
  6. Click “Application for Obtaining Financial Assistance under Ladli Beti Scheme”
  7. Fill in the required details, upload documents, and submit your form.

🟠 Offline Method:

  • Visit your nearest District Programme Officer (DPO)
  • Submit the physical form along with photocopies of required documents.

✅ Currently active DPOs include:

  • DPO Anantnag
  • DPO Budgam
  • DPO Jammu, etc.

Note: The online form is enabled for limited districts as of now.


💬 Important Notes

  • ✔️ ₹1000/month will be directly transferred to the girl’s account.
  • ✔️ On turning 21, the full corpus of ₹6.5 lakh will be released.
  • ❌ Only two girl children per family can apply.
  • 📆 Valid only for those born after April 1, 2015.
