Problem: Exam Centre Changed

  • Example: Selected Shyam Lal College but allotted Rohini centre.
  • Reason: Seat availability and merging with other exam schedules like SOL.
  • Solution:
    • No action needed. It is mandatory to appear for the test at the designated examination venue.
    • IGNOU reserves the right to change centres based on logistics.

Important Reminders

  • Admit cards are only issued to those who successfully submitted the exam form.
  • Carefully verify the schedule, timing, paper code, and location assigned for your test.
  • Carry a valid photo ID along with the hall ticket on the exam day.

We had taken some other exam center but our exam center has been changed now. This is a big problem. For example, suppose I am from Delhi, so I chose Shyam Lal College as my exam centre while filling the exam form. But when my hall ticket came, my exam centre was mentioned somewhere in Rohini. Now what should I do? So, in such a situation, you have to do one thing. Do not panic. The first thing IGNOU clearly says is that when you select your exam centre, there are most chances that the exam centre you have selected will be allotted to you. But sometimes it happens that exams of other colleges are also held at the same exam centre. There are regular and SOL seats too. So, due to this reason, the seats get full. So, now the students have to sit in those IGNOU centres. So, what happens sometimes?
